Jon Taber is the Internal Audit Manager at Casey’s, the third largest convenience store chain in the United States. In this role, he contributes to strengthening internal controls, enhancing audit coverage, and supporting risk informed decision making across a large, multi state retail operation.
He has built his career in internal audit and financial services, performing financial and operational audits across diverse geographies and business models. Before joining Casey’s, Jon worked at FedEx Services, where he conducted financial and operational audits with a primary focus on operations in Latin America and the Caribbean. Earlier in his career, he held roles with an accounting firm and with Principal Financial Group, gaining experience in assurance, financial analysis, and corporate processes.
Jon is also the creator and host of the AUDIT 15 FUN podcast, a platform dedicated to concise, high impact conversations with internal audit thought leaders from a wide range of industries and countries. Through short, focused episodes, the podcast explores emerging topics in internal audit, governance, risk management, and data driven assurance, and has become a recognized space for sharing practical insights and elevating the profession.
Through his combined experience as a practitioner and podcast host, Jon actively promotes the value of internal audit and highlights innovative practices that help audit functions deliver greater impact. He is fluent in English and Portuguese and has professional proficiency in Spanish, supporting his work and outreach across the Americas.
